The customer service representative will take incoming calls as necessary to assist their customers service over the phone to ensure patients receive their recurring medical supplies and equipment in a timely manner. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO): Greet patients in a prompt, professional and courteous manner over the phone and in person Call, email and text patients and customers. Answer calls, emails and texts to determine medical supply reorder needs and answer questions Assist patients with product selection based on need, insurance coverage and medical documentation Assist customers to create and submit reoccurring supply orders for approvals Enter patient information into the company's operating system; obtain and verify appropriate insurance information Develop a thorough knowledge of medical supply and equipment coverage guidelines for all qualifying insurances and apply accordingly when processing customer orders Work with patients and third-party vendor to collect payments Maintain the ProActive Living resupply list accurately and timely Regular and reliable attendance Other duties as assigned The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.
