The Ballmer Institute seeks a pool of applicants interested in Pro Tem Lecturer positions to teach primarily graduate courses (although some undergraduate courses may be available, too). Positions are temporary, intermittent, or of limited duration; not to exceed one year. In limited circumstances, there may be a possibility of renewal up to three years depending on programmatic need, funding, and performance. There is an immediate need for a lecturer in the following terms: Winter Term: undergraduate Prevention and Intervention course delivered in person, Portland Oregon Spring Term: graduate Trauma-Informed Supports course delivered virtually in the evenings Other needs may arise throughout the year. Successful candidates will share the Ballmer Institute’s commitment to an inclusive environment and to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
