About The Position

Our team is seeking a highly organized and technically capable Project Coordinator to support engineering operations across a range of disciplines, including telecommunications, structural, and construction-related projects. This role works closely with the Director of Engineering and cross-functional teams to coordinate project execution, maintain accurate tracking systems, and ensure alignment across engineering, field, and financial stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in improving workflow efficiency, leveraging modern tools and automation, and supporting scalable project delivery across a growing portfolio.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3–7+ years of experience supporting engineering, telecommunications, construction, or infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with project tracking tools or platforms preferred
  • Experience with project financial tracking, invoicing, and purchase order management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting engineering teams or working directly with engineering leadership
  • Familiarity with multiple engineering disciplines (telecom, structural, mechanical, or construction workflows)
  • Experience developing or improving workflow systems using automation, AI tools, or low-code platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Professional Services in coordinating project execution across multiple engineering disciplines (telecom, structural, mechanical, and construction support)
  • Track project deliverables, schedules, and dependencies across high-volume and fast-paced project environments
  • Act as a liaison between engineering teams, field operations, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution
  • Identify and proactively remove barriers to project success, escalating risks prior to critical impact
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve project tracking systems, including third-party platforms and internal tools
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools, automation, and low-code/no-code platforms to enhance workflow efficiency, reporting accuracy, and data visibility
  • Design and implement scalable workflow solutions to support increasing project volume and complexity
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Accounting to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, purchase order tracking, and financial documentation
  • Assist in tracking contracts, submittals, and project close-out documentation to ensure completeness and compliance
  • Support the preparation of project proposals, budgets, cash flows, and preliminary schedules in collaboration with leadership
  • Maintain accurate and complete project files, ensuring data integrity across systems
  • Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and performance metrics to leadership
  • Create and distribute internal and external project communications, including updates, documentation, and meeting materials
  • Assist in obtaining required permits and licenses for engineering and construction-related projects
  • Support administrative coordination for site-specific regulatory requirements
  • Provide administrative and operational support to leadership and engineering teams as needed
  • Assist with coordination of meetings, vendor communications, and office-related functions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and project operations
