About The Position

ASI Education is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to advance our professional development and training platform. This role focuses on platform integration, feature development, web application enhancement, and learning management system environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years full-stack web development experience
• Proven Moodle development and customization experience
• Advanced PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), and SQL
• MySQL database design and optimization
• Responsive web design with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA)
• AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3)
• GitHub version control and collaborative workflows
• DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines
• Ability to collaborate with designers to accomplish design goals

Nice To Haves

• Command-line/terminal proficiency and VSCode development environment
• CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, Foundation)
• UI libraries (Material UI, Ant Design) with modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue)
• Live streaming platform integration experience
• NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations (SAML, OAuth2, Okta)
• Python for backend scripting and data integration
• AI/ML in education (chatbots, recommendation engines)
• Large Language Model (LLM) applications development
• UI/UX design and front-end enhancement capabilities

Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web applications
• Develop and customize Moodle sites and integrate with broader platform ecosystem
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements that increase learner engagement
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication integrations
• Build user analytics, dashboards, and reporting systems
• Support data-driven decision-making with SQL/Python-based solutions
• Monitor and optimize site performance, scalability, and reliability
• Apply security best practices and ensure data protection compliance
• Maintain comprehensive documentation using formalized ticketing system
