These services will include interventions within the SLP scope of practice, as outlined by ASHA, in a variety of settings and levels of care. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide evaluation and treatment services to patients. You will accurately administer appropriate diagnostic evaluation tools based on the diagnosis and age of each patient. Along with providing quality treatment to our patients, you will keep medical records up to date, complete and in accordance with department and hospital guidelines for patients served. You will be part of a great team! You will work collaboratively within the Interdisciplinary team and participate in department and interdepartmental efforts to improve processes and clinical treatments.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology
  • State of Michigan Speech/Language Pathology Licensure
  • Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
  • MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
