At Cleveland Clinic Health System, we believe in a better future for healthcare. And each of us is responsible for honoring our commitment to excellence, pushing the boundaries and transforming the patient experience, every day. We all have the power to help, heal and change lives — beginning with our own. That’s the power of the Cleveland Clinic Health System team, and The Power of Every One. Join us at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital where we have been providing world-class care to our community for over 100 years. Here, we strive for patient-centered care and comfort with our collaborative team of healthcare professionals. We are committed to serving the community and treat our patients as family. In the 26-bed 6400 Behavioral Health Unit at Akron General, caregivers progressively involve patients in their care plans, allowing them to work toward an increased self-responsibility and independence. Through medication and various therapies, they learn to rebuild their ability to fulfill daily living activities and cope with challenges. As an RN on this team, you will support these populations through their recovery processes, offering support, guidance and compassion alongside your fellow dedicated Psychiatrists, Social Works, Therapists and other healthcare staff. How You’ll Benefit Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts. You must work 48 hours within a six-week period.
