About The Position
OSF Healthcare is looking for a hospitalist physician to join their team on an as-needed basis about 2 days per month OSF has 16 hospitals throughout Illinois 7 on, 7 off 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am Epic EMR Standard daytime hourly rate $157.91 Standard nighttime hourly rate $197.39
Requirements
- Education: Doctorate
- Licensed to practice medicine in current state
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
