PRN Advanced Life Support Instructor - ACLS/PALS

About The Position
An Advanced Life Support Instructor at Munson Healthcare is a position for instructors who are certified to teach ACLS or PALS courses following the American Heart Association guidelines. The instructor possesses good communication and feedback skills. The instructor should teach at least two advanced courses per year for the Munson Life Support Training Center.
Requirements
- Current American Heart Association ACLS or PALS instructor status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire
- Current BLS provider status required, or ability to obtain within one month of hire
- Advanced EMT, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, RN, Physician Assistant or Physician licensure preferred
- Two or more years of advanced patient care required
- Critical care training preferred
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
- MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
