About The Position

Bernstein Private Wealth Management is a premier investment management firm advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Bernstein Private Wealth Associates are client service professionals who exhibit drive, ambition, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. They partner with Financial Advisors to help propel the growth of the Private Wealth Management Platform, providing asset allocation recommendations, capital markets positioning, portfolio analytics, and wealth and legacy planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. Associates will collaborate and network with senior professionals, build relationships with clients and prospective clients, and strive to provide world-class customer service. The role includes participation in a robust and comprehensive training program called The Associate Development Program (ADP). This program is designed to build a foundation of investment knowledge and develop quantitative and qualitative skills. Components of ADP include in-depth industry training on proprietary investments, services, policies and procedures, advanced training on trusts & estates, wealth planning, investment management philosophies, and financial management strategies. It also focuses on client service excellence, partnership and sales training, behavioral training for communication and leadership, and career management with one-on-one coaching. Associates have opportunities to continue their career as a client service professional or in areas like Leadership, Wealth Strategies, Investment Strategies, or becoming an Advisor. The firm focuses on individual development, personalizing a roadmap for success. As Associates progress and achieve milestones (typically over ~3 years), they are advanced to other opportunities at Bernstein Private Wealth Management.

Requirements

  • Possess strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) and an ability to build relationships
  • Accomplished team players who thrive in a rigorous and challenging environment
  • Client-focused and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • A bachelor's degree with excellence in academics and strong leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years client service experience, financial services industry experience a plus
  • Candidates with required series exams (SIE, Series 7, and Series 63) are a plus
