About The Position

The Private Markets Intern will support the Director of Private Markets Client and Partner Strategy in conducting research, analyzing data, and assisting with client deliverables across private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and other illiquid asset classes. This role provides hands-on exposure to institutional consulting work, manager due diligence, and portfolio analysis within a collaborative and intellectually rigorous environment. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills.
  • High proficiency in Excel, including handling large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize complex topics concisely.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Interest in private markets, institutional investing, and macroeconomic trends.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior exposure to financial modeling or investment research is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with quantitative and qualitative due diligence on private markets investment managers.
  • Analyze fund performance, partnership structures, investment strategies, and market trends.
  • Help prepare client-ready materials, including reports, presentations, and portfolio updates.
  • Support the team in reviewing investment memoranda and fundraising documents.
  • Conduct industry and sector research related to private equity, private credit, real assets, and other private market segments.
  • Assist with monitoring existing client portfolios, including cash flow analysis and performance attribution.
  • Update internal databases, track pipeline opportunities, and maintain research files.
  • Contribute to special projects related to asset allocation, benchmarking, data analytics, and market surveys.
