About The Position

The Private Markets, AVP will support the Director of Private Markets in the sourcing, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of private markets investment opportunities across private equity, private credit, real assets, and other alternative strategies. This position is responsible for contributing analytical support to the investment process, maintaining high-quality due diligence standards, and assisting in the management of Dynasty’s private markets platform. The role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a professional and dynamic environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in investment management, private markets, consulting, investment banking, or a related analytical role preferred.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related analytical tools.
  • Very adept at leverage AI tools to drive efficiency and work output.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and tracking investment opportunities across the private markets landscape, including private equity, private credit, venture capital, and real asset funds.
  • Conduct preliminary screening of managers and strategies to assess alignment with Dynasty’s investment objectives.
  • Maintain awareness of fundraising activity, market trends, and industry developments relevant to private markets.
  • Support relationship development with fund managers, placement agents, and other market participants.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative due diligence, including assessment of investment strategy, historical performance, team structure, operational framework, and risk considerations.
  • Assist with the preparation of due diligence writeups and analytical tools used to evaluate fund performance, portfolio characteristics, and risk exposures.
  • Participate in manager meetings, due diligence discussions, and reference checks as required.
  • Prepare written materials summarizing diligence findings, including investment memos, reports, and presentations for internal review.
  • Support ongoing monitoring of approved managers, including review of quarterly reports, capital account statements, fund updates, portfolio company developments, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate internal records, databases, and portfolio tracking tools.
  • Assist in identifying portfolio-level risks, pacing considerations, liquidity requirements, and exposure management.
  • Prepare materials for periodic reporting to internal stakeholders, committees, and client-facing teams as needed.
  • Provide quarterly updates to network clients on performance and on an adhoc basis.
