About The Position

As the Private Equity Partnerships Manager at Anthropic, you will own day-to-day relationships with top-tier PE sponsors and drive Claude adoption across their portfolio companies. You’ll operate at the intersection of private equity, AI technology, and enterprise transformation—structuring partnership terms, managing FDE deployments at portfolio companies, and ensuring Claude products and AI agent engagements deliver measurable value. This role requires someone who is fluent in PE sponsor economics, comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder environments, and capable of managing complex deal cycles from term sheet through operational execution. You’ll work closely with the Head of Private Equity to shape strategy while owning execution across multiple sponsor relationships simultaneously. Your success will be measured by your ability to activate partnerships into live deployments and hit revenue milestones across your assigned sponsors. You’ll be a critical contributor to Anthropic’s initiative to support the massive opportunity in PE-backed mid-market enterprises.

Requirements

  • Have 5–10+ years of experience in financial technology sales, private equity, PE-backed operating roles, management consulting serving PE clients, or technology partnerships with PE sponsors
  • Have strong familiarity with PE fund structures, GP economics, value creation playbooks, and the stakeholder dynamics of sponsor–portfolio company relationships
  • Have a track record of managing multiple concurrent workstreams with competing deadlines and stakeholders
  • Are fluent in AI technology and can credibly discuss agentic AI capabilities with both technical teams and PE investment professionals
  • Have an existing familiarity across PE sponsors and can engage credibly at the Operating Partner/Principal level
  • Are comfortable operating as both a strategist and an executor—you can draft a term sheet and also project-manage an FDE deployment timeline
  • Thrive in ambiguity and can manage evolving competitive dynamics, shifting stakeholder priorities, and tight timelines
  • Are passionate about AI’s potential to transform the economy and you’re aligned with Anthropic’s mission of developing safe and beneficial AI
  • We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Sponsor Relationship Management
  • Serve as Anthropic’s primary day-to-day point of contact for multiple PE sponsors. Build deep relationships with operating partners, deal teams, and portfolio company leadership. Run recurring cadences (QBRs, pipeline reviews, executive check-ins) to maintain momentum and surface new deployment opportunities.
  • Portfolio Company Activation & Deployment Oversight
  • Drive portfolio company activation by identifying high-value use cases, supporting engagement scoping, and overseeing deployment cycles. Coordinate with FDEs, product, and research to ensure engagements hit quality and timeline gates. Track deployment metrics and communicate progress to sponsor stakeholders.
  • Revenue & Pipeline Development
  • Own pipeline development and revenue targets for assigned sponsors. Build and maintain a rolling forecast of deployment opportunities across portfolio companies. Drive upsell and expansion within activated accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
