About The Position

Join our team as a Private Duty Pediatric Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide compassionate, energetic home healthcare to clients. The agency is actively seeking LPNs and RNs and is willing to provide training in G-tube, trach, and ventilator care if needed, with nursing supervisors available to teach. This specific role involves caring for an 8-year-old male with a g-tube in Essex, MD. The agency is Joint Commission Accredited and has been providing home care for adults and pediatric patients for over thirty-seven years.

Requirements

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour
• Time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week
