About The Position
Helms Home Care is seeking to hire LPN or RN's for hourly private-duty home care in Denver, NC 28037. The nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including medication administration, Trilogy machine, ADLs, PROM, lifting/moving, etc. and experience caring for patients on a ventilator and tracheostomy and or be willing to train. Part time positions available. Shift available on Tuesdays from 8am-6pm and with possibility of extra hours including medical, dental, PTO and simple IRA with 3% company match.
Requirements
- Current NC or Compact State nursing license
- Familiarity with home skilled nursing needs
- Experience with caring for patients on a ventilator, g-tube and tracheostomy and or be willing to train
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assist with ADLs, PROM, lifting/moving, etc.
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Communicate promptly with scheduling personnel
