About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit company seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric and adult 1:1 care to join their Cambria County team. The company emphasizes providing high-quality care with compassion, excellence, and reliability to clients and their families. Private duty nursing differs from traditional home health visits by offering traditional shift types (4’s, 8’s or 10’s), hands-on care with one client, opportunities to build client relationships and observe milestones, and caring for clients ranging from infant to geriatric. BAYADA is celebrating 50 years of compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients one-on-one
• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
