Private Duty Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for providing 1:1 care to pediatric and adult clients in Somerset County. The company is dedicated to delivering high-quality care with compassion, excellence, and reliability. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients, observing their milestones. Private duty nursing involves traditional shift types (4, 8, or 10 hours) and focuses on individualized care for clients ranging from infants to geriatrics, distinguishing it from typical home health visits.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients one-on-one
- Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
