Private Duty Night Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric and adult 1:1 care to join their Cambria County team for high-tech night shifts. The company emphasizes delivering the highest quality care with compassion, excellence, and reliability. Private duty nursing at BAYADA differs from traditional home health visits by offering traditional shift types (4, 8, or 10 hours), providing hands-on care with a single client, fostering client relationships, and observing their milestones. Clients range in age from infant to geriatric.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients one-on-one
- Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
