About The Position

This role is within a company culture that values common sense, relationships, fairness, and simplicity. Bankers are encouraged to see clients as individuals, not just numbers, and to offer simple solutions to complex life situations. The company is committed to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, promoting growth, revitalization, and sustainability in the communities it serves through banking relationships, investing, grants, and volunteerism. The organization strives for a positive, results-driven culture where all associates feel welcome and empowered. The job itself requires quickly connecting with people in a poised, convincing, and enthusiastic manner, working at an extremely fast pace, and collaborating with others to complete tasks and motivate teams. It demands a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and drive, with an emphasis on working through people. Understanding and effectively motivating and persuading others is crucial. Goals must be set and reached in a timely manner, and decisions often need to be made under pressure, incorporating the ideas of others. While details need quick and accurate handling, they are not a repetitive part of the job. Many tasks involve selling, persuading, and/or training. The role requires controlling all aspects of tasks from initiation to completion. As a Private Banker, the individual will serve as the main point of contact for a select group of NBH’s affluent clients.
