Ensures quality and safe delivery of home health care services. Develops and implements written policies and procedures that reflect home health care agency philosophy and objectives. Develops a strategic business plan that will ensure controlled and consistent growth. Ensures compliance of home health care agency operations with federal, state and local rules and regulations. Develops, implements, evaluates budget plan and cost control policies and procedures to ensure sufficient net contribution. Develops and implements salary programs within approved home health care agency policies and procedures. Monitors productivity levels of agency staff and adjusts accordingly. Monitors ongoing changes and trends in the health and home care industry and adjust and evaluates accordingly. Continually looks for opportunities and needs in the industry and develops new relationships and product lines to respond to the ever-changing health care environment. Monitors the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjusts allocated funds accordingly. Develops and implements recruitment and retention strategies to increase volume of field staff. Participates in working professional associations to collaborate with fellow industry professionals to monitor current and ongoing trends, regulations and threats to the home care industry. Collaborates with other AHSIC companies, as well as Atlantic Health facilities, to increase awareness of the agency and to collaborate on ways to promote business opportunities that will lead to mutual growth with the companies. Provide on call leadership coverage after business hours, weekends and holidays. Provides oversight and operational leadership to the Adult Day Center. Accepts additional assignments as necessary. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Excellent organizational/communication skills required. Must posses the ability to maintain confidentiality. Provides practice management support for operational location.
