About The Position

Role Summary The Private Bank Deposits Business Insights Analyst supports the Private Bank Deposits Product team with portfolio management, pricing monitoring and execution, reporting, and day-to-day product support. This role works closely with Deposits Product Managers and Product Partners to help manage deposit product performance across Private Bank client segments. The incumbent partners with Relationship Managers, Private Bankers, Division Leaders, and Executive Leadership to provide insights, reporting, and execution support related to deposit balances, pricing behavior, client flows, and portfolio trends. This role plays an important part in ensuring Private Bank deposit strategies are executed consistently and supported by timely, accurate information.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
1–4 years of experience in banking, financial services, analytics, or a related role.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers, trends, and data.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting or visualization tools is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with sales and leadership stakeholders.
Interest in Private Banking, deposits, and relationship-based client management.

Responsibilities

Monitor Private Bank deposit portfolios, including balances, flows, product mix, rate performance, and client behavior.
Support analysis of portfolio trends, growth dynamics, and client segmentation across checking, savings, MMA, CDs, and specialty deposit solutions.
Assist Product Managers and Partners in identifying risks, opportunities, and emerging trends within the deposits portfolio.
Support execution of approved deposit pricing strategies, including rate updates, pricing grids, and promotional changes.
Monitor pricing performance and client response to rate changes or market movements.
Assist with pricing impact analysis and preparation of materials for pricing discussions and governance forums.
Support exception tracking and reporting in partnership with Product, Pricing & Profitability, and Sales leadership.
Produce recurring and ad-hoc reporting for Product Managers, Division Leaders, and Executive Leadership related to deposit performance and trends.
Prepare summary materials, dashboards, and briefing content used in leadership reviews and business discussions.
Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with approved methodologies.
