About the Role: In an era of accelerating data use and ever-evolving regulation, we anchor our commitment to customer trust in our Global Privacy program. You will operate at the intersection of technology, law, compliance and business strategy, translating abstract regulatory requirements into concrete, scalable, and elegant solutions. We serve as internal advisors. We partner with team members to solve complex and nuanced privacy issues in areas including global expansion, new financial products, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advertising. We do this in a manner that is privacy-forward. As a Senior Privacy Program Manager-Technical, you will help enhance Remitly's culture of privacy as we build new experiences for our customers and employees. This includes leading privacy and regulatory programs with internal partners. These programs involve privacy impact assessments, assessing and mitigating nuanced privacy risks, and creating compliance strategies for relevant data protection laws together with the DPO. Additionally, they involve promoting a privacy-centric culture across the organization.
