About The Position

The Privacy Analyst will advise the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) on the conduct of their privacy and civil liberties programs to ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements, and developing and evaluating appropriate risk management policies. This will include evaluating DARPA research programs and initiatives for potential privacy and civil liberties impacts and providing mitigation strategies. As part of our team, you'll serve as a subject matter expert to our clients in DARPA, advising on advanced government-funded research and development programs. You will maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to your clients on the risks and impacts of potential privacy and civil liberties issues involving these research programs and recommending mitigations for these risks to DARPA stakeholders.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Master’s degree
  • FOUR (4) or more years’ experience of related DoD or Intelligence Community privacy law application, including experience supporting a S&T, RDT&E organization, mission, or programs of similar size and/or scale to DARPA’s
  • TWO (2) or more years' experience managing programs or projects across various stages of their lifecycle

Nice To Haves

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight

Responsibilities
