About The Position

The Print Shop and Document Specialist is responsible for coordinating all hard copy individual patient communication in a timely manner while ensuring to remain HIPAA compliant. This position is critical to Solis Mammography as the conduct for the printing, stuffing, and mailing of all patient letters. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our patient records. Responsibilities also include managing, organizing, and ensuring the accuracy of all medical records (legal/subpoena) in compliance with healthcare laws and Solis standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma; Post high school education preferred
  • Licensed Notary preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible but focused
  • Energetic and flexible
  • Well-organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to lift 50-70 lbs
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with HIPPA compliance standards and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Familiarity with RIS (Radiology Information Systems) is a plus
  • Prior print experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide services and support for the following areas:
  • Understand, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Printing All reminder, lay letters, follow-up letters, past-due, and Dr. Reports for all Solis Mammography
  • Printing/Emailing all reminder letters for Washington Radiology
  • Quality Checking all letters – Solis Mammography and Washington Radiology
  • Processing all return mail and resending it out with correct patient info
  • Assist Contact Center leadership with any facilities related issues, handle all vendor requests
  • Preparing legal requests like subpoenas and court orders
  • Accommodates and fulfills ad-hoc requests
  • Operates printing equipment and performs monthly safety inspections on equipment
  • Maintains inventory of paper, bindery supplies, toner, and other supplies for the Contact Center
  • Orders supplies when needed
  • Processes and disseminates all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Ensures to adherence to HIPPA standards
