About The Position

Provide high quality, customer-responsive turnaround of internal district print jobs in a cost-effective production environment. Responsible for all aspects of printing, assembly and distribution of production work including scheduling, planning, and execution.

Requirements

This position requires a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a fast-paced production environment requiring a solid understanding of various printing techniques, materials and printing equipment and job layouts.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual is a plus
Additional training or certifications in print production a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the printing production process from start to finish, ensuring all projects are executed efficiently and meet client expectations.
Review client requirements and job orders to determine the appropriate printing method, materials, and equipment needed for each project.
Prepare and adjust artwork files for print, ensuring proper formatting, resolution, color accuracy, and adherence to printing standards.
Collaborate with clients, designers, and vendors to discuss project specifications, resolve any issues, and provide technical advice on print production requirements.
Procure necessary printing materials, such as paper, ink, and other supplies, while maintaining inventory levels and controlling costs.
Operate and maintain printing equipment, digital printers, and finishing machines, ensuring proper functionality, and troubleshooting any technical issues.
Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure accurate color reproduction, print clarity, and adherence to specifications.
Monitor production schedules, prioritize jobs, and track project progress to meet deadlines and ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, job specifications, material usage, and other relevant documentation.
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to optimize the printing production process, streamline workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.
Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervisor and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite.
