Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Printing Manager to lead operations within our Printing and Sheeting departments. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and optimizing production activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives are consistently achieved. The Printing Manager serves as a key operational leader, collaborating across departments to align manufacturing execution with company goals, customer expectations, and compliance requirements in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in printing, packaging, converting, or paper‑based manufacturing
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in a converting facility or high‑volume printing operation
  • Hands‑on knowledge of:
  • Printing presses
  • Roll stock cutting machines
  • Die cutting machines
  • Straight‑line gluers
  • Experience operating or overseeing use of forklifts, clamp trucks, electric pallet jacks, and hand jacks
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily printing and sheeting operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives
  • Ensure manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Scheduling, and Supply Chain teams to drive operational efficiency
  • Manage, coach, and develop employees by setting performance goals, allocating resources, and providing performance feedback
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on Lean manufacturing, waste reduction, throughput optimization, and quality improvement
  • Analyze production metrics, downtime, scrap, and performance trends to improve results
  • Support Plant and Operations Leadership with strategic initiatives and operational problem‑solving
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture aligned with company core values
  • Perform other duties as assigned
