About The Position

Utilizes a training period at the Digital Print and Mail Center to learn the operation of all print and mail related equipment and processes.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Operates high volume copy machines and performs binding and finishing work.
  • Ensures copiers are working properly, checking for quality via daily inspections.
  • Clears paper jams and informs technicians of specific problems.
  • Operates high speed, high volume mail inserting equipment to meet required daily mail volumes.
  • Operates mail sorting equipment as needed.
  • Maintains records for management reports and inventories of supplies needed.
  • Calculates charges for jobs performed during the presort process and maintains some billing logs.
  • Responds to and coordinates service calls as deemed necessary.
  • Delivers completed jobs to pre-determined customer locations within and outside of the site when necessary.
  • Maintains daily meter and service logs.
  • Answers customer questions regarding status or feasibility of job requests.
  • Ensures upkeep of convenience copier areas by keeping neat and well stocked.
  • Performs duties related to the shipping and receiving of materials.
  • May perform occasional cleaning duties as needed.
  • Learns the proper technique to operate various print shop equipment.
  • Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
