Requirements

• Experience required: Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
• Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred.
• An individual must have the following skills in the Printer Mechanic position: Interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Demonstrate initiative in addressing and/or resolving repair issues.
• Effective communication skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• This position is located in a manufacturing location. Physical requirements will include, but are not limited to: Standing for lengthy periods (frequent) Sitting for extended periods (frequent) Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional) Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)
• An individual who works in the Printer Mechanic position: Must be physically able to lift to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, and work in a hot/cold environment.
• Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
• Must have a basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Must have personal tools up to one (1) inch.
• High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Technical certification in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Follows all documented safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
• Performs printer general maintenance.
• Utilizes quarterbacking to facilitate changeovers.
• Supports production in all areas to troubleshoot and address problems.
• Maintains spare parts inventory.
• Documents daily maintenance activity.
• Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
• Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
• Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
• Maintains excellent safety record.
• Maintains excellent attendance record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
