About The Position

Inserter/Mail Center Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment used to fold, match, and insert multiple pieces of printed material into an envelope. Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm Occasional overtime Job Profile Summary A detail‑oriented production role responsible for operating mail inserter equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring accurate, timely processing of outgoing mail in a fast‑paced environment. The Inserter/Mail Center Operator reports to the Print and Mail Services Operations Manager at SelectHealth.

Requirements

  • Experience in printing, inserting, Mail Center, or Receiving
  • Proficient use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet, email, and scheduling applications.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, problem solving, and basic math skills
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Demonstrated effective organizational skills with the ability to work within deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in printing, inserting, Mail Center, or Receiving
  • Demonstrated mechanical skills to adjust inserting equipment
  • Willing to work outside of core business hours to meet business needs
  • Seeing, sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, manual dexterity, and walking and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
