About The Position

The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College announces an opening for a full-time Print Shop Operator. R eporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this full-time hourly position is offered with a comprehensive benefit package including health insurance, retirement, life and disability insurance, paid leave, educational benefits, and all other benefits associated with full-time employment. Essential Duties: Operating digital print equipment in an efficient, safe, orderly, and quality manner. Press production operations include but are not limited: printing, collation, jog, assembly, drilling, binding, cuts, glues, and package printed materials according to instructions. Meet daily production goals and deadlines. Troubleshoot equipment problems; coordinate service calls with vendors when necessary. Keep and maintain an orderly paper usage and inventory system. Assist in prepress and finishing areas when necessary. Maintains shop invoicing and financial records. Other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or 3 to 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Publisher, basic PC operations, and Adobe Creative Suite. Detail oriented. Must be a steady, reliable worker. Strong customer service skills. Organizational and Troubleshooting skills. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or 3 to 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Publisher, basic PC operations, and Adobe Creative Suite.
