About The Position

JPK Secure Healthcare Solutions (JPK) provides pre/post compliant enrollment communication solutions for government and commercial health plans, TPA’s and employer groups. The information is delivered to members and providers through various formats (print/mail, faxing, e-delivery, etc.) ensuring that every recipient receives timely, accurate, and secure communications. The position, Print Production/Vendor Manager, is a full-time job working from the JPK office located in Paoli, PA. There is an option for some very limited work-from-home flexibility, but only after an 8-10 month “learning curve” has been completed. Once fully trained in the position, you will oversee and be responsible for all materials used in the various production/manufacturing processes. JPK is not a “manufacturer” so this will include planning and executing the outside purchases and coordinating the production schedules to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective production management. A full understanding of the manufacturing processes being used by JPK’s vetted outside production partner(s) will be key to being able to make cost-competitive buys, while adhering to the challenging delivery timeframes. JPK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Print Production/Vendor Manager to join the team. This person will be responsible for “cost of goods sold” purchasing and inventory control. There will be well defined goals pursuant to meeting service levels, hitting pricing margins, keeping accurate inventory levels, and the like. Requirements

  • Must be located within one hour drive of Paoli, PA
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of related experience in commercial/secure print industry
  • Competitive spirit, never quit attitude
  • Well organized and able to manage several tasks at once
  • Proficient in Production Planning and Vendor Management
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proven experience in purchasing and inventory control
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing and inventory control, while negotiating the best possible pricing
  • Will work with both “downstream” vendor partners as well as with other JPK personnel, and on occasion will be required to communicate directly with clients
  • Will learn the JPK job costing platform, Xetex, needed to produce purchase orders for vendors and invoices for clients
  • Will need to learn and have a solid understanding of our CMT-360 client (white labeled) platform and how it relates to sending work to vendors.
  • Will work with JPK personnel to set client pricing for the various types of work and then enter the estimates into Xetex.
  • Will be the primary person responsible for vetting new downstream vendors, and writing new agreements, as well as updating existing agreements as needed
  • Will be responsible for quarterly vendor reviews and required to do onsite visits to vendors at least annually. Will be expected to document and report that the vendors are following all required policies and procedures as defined in the vendor agreements
  • Will need to negotiate critical delivery schedules
  • Will need to monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
  • Will need to collaborate with other JPK departments to ensure purchasing needs are met
  • Identifies and implements cost-saving strategies
