We are looking for a driven Print Production Supervisor The Print Production Supervisor oversees day-to-day production activities for Meyers printing and packaging operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of customer orders. Responsible for supervising production staff, maintaining equipment readiness, ensuring job documentation accuracy, and upholding quality standards to meet schedule, cost, and performance objectives.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of flexographic, lithographic, and/or digital printing processes, inks, substrates, and converting operations.
  • Strong leadership skills including coaching, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to interpret job specifications, production data, and quality standards.
  • Proven attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a printing or related manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs during manufacturing operations.
  • Regular exposure to noise, inks/solvents, and industrial equipment.
  • Must be able to safely navigate production areas including around moving machinery.

  • Prior supervisory or team ‑ lead experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Supervision & Policy Enforcement Direct, coach, and evaluate production employees to optimize performance and engagement.
  • Enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Manage daily labor deployment, break coverage, and attendance accountability.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and corrective-action processes as required.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
  • Equipment Care & Maintenance Ensure press and finishing equipment are operated within manufacturer and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and perform preventive care.
  • Identify equipment issues early and escalate for timely correction.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to machinery performance and utilization.
  • Documentation Control Verify all job tickets are fully completed, accurate, and compliant with workflow requirements.
  • Ensure material usage, labor time, scrap data, and performance metrics are properly recorded.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits, traceability, and production reporting.
  • Coordinate with Scheduling on job status and daily labor assignments.
  • Quality Assurance Complete First Article Inspections Monitor in-process inspections and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Investigate non-conformances and support root-cause corrective actions.
  • Drive employee awareness and adherence to quality systems and performance expectations.
