About The Position
The Print Production Specialist position at Purple Frog Graphics is an active role that requires the individual to be on their feet for most of the day. The primary responsibilities include printing, cutting, finishing, and constructing signage and display graphics, as well as assisting with daily production activities. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and is committed to meeting deadlines for new projects in wide format printing. The main goal of this role is to produce high-quality products efficiently, ensuring that quality remains the top priority throughout the production process. In this role, the Print Production Specialist will be expected to proactively address any issues related to sub-par quality with the production manager and regional manager. They will also need to be well-versed in file management and conversion to ensure optimal quality in pre-press operations. The specialist will assist the production manager in managing daily workflow, reviewing open orders, and adapting to shifting deadlines as necessary. Additionally, they will be involved in all aspects of print production, including printing, cutting, laminating, and finishing, while keeping rework and errors to a minimum. The position also requires strong problem-solving skills, as the specialist must possess a proficient knowledge of machinery and software to address challenges in the production process. Innovation is key, as the individual will use their knowledge of materials and equipment to create new products that differentiate the business in the eyes of consumers. Furthermore, the role involves inventory management, equipment maintenance, and a solid understanding of graphic design applications to translate client requests into tangible products.
