About The Position

As a Print Production Associate at Staples, you will be part of a collaborative and inclusive team that helps customers meet their copy and print needs. This role is not in a retail store; instead, you will work in dedicated print facilities that handle large print orders originating from stores. The position offers flexibility to accommodate your schedule and provides training, including cross-training in different functions of the Digital Print Facility. You will produce and finish large copy, print, and signage orders using high-volume digital print equipment. The work environment is team-oriented and fun, with a focus on helping both the print facility and local stores succeed.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and sound organizational skills
• Experience managing multiple priorities
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, identify problems or missing information, and address them proactively
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to size and print documents

• Experience working in a print environment
• Experience using and editing PDF files in a digital print manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Follow production workflow to produce a high volume of work
• Operate a variety of finishing equipment including cutters, drills, and bindery
• Prepare and troubleshoot various file formats and convert them to PDF print-ready status
• Ensure that all work produced meets the job ticket and customer's quality expectations
• Properly use and care for all equipment, complying with operating instructions and maintenance schedules
• Partner with the Production Facility Lead for the timely processing of projects
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned, including serving as a backup driver
