About The Position

TWENTY2 Wallpaper & Textiles is seeking a full-time Print Operator for our wallpaper department. Our wallpaper department is hands-on and requires high attention to detail, a mindful handling of product, ability to adhere to a tight schedule, flexibility, teamwork and a positive attitude. TWENTY2 is a female-led full service wallpaper and textiles partner, our design driven team provides development and manufacturing expertise for private label collections and custom projects. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Wide format printing experience preferred
  • Possess a positive attitude and “can do” personality
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds with aid
  • Ability to utilize ladders and other small equipment
  • Ability to learn and utilize proprietary computer software
  • Ability to follow, understand and execute direction as given to you by your managers
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Able to stay focused and organized while executing a number of projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience with print production or other production/manufacturing is a plus
  • Appreciation for fine art and experience in the world of wallpaper & textile design

Responsibilities

  • Set up the wide format printers to produce daily orders, including selecting the correct material for each order and preparing the material on the printer
  • Work independently to set up and run assigned print orders on wide format printers
  • Remove completed orders from the wide format printers and deliver to quality inspection tables
  • Review and examine wallpaper orders for print clarity, color accuracy and consistency throughout a print run and after jobs have been printed
  • Ensure the printers have sufficient ink to complete the designated orders
  • Maintain awareness of whether the printers are functioning properly throughout the day; troubleshoot as needed or identify when expert technical service is required
  • Assist the Production team in their goal of ensuring that all orders print on time or ahead of schedule
  • Respond promptly to any Production related request
  • Aiding the Captains by reading and understanding the printing schedule to fit production needs and efficiency
  • Collaborative timely communication with the team (color matchers) to fulfill the team's printing goals for the day.
