Requirements

  • Ability to work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
  • Comfortable working with a moderate degree of supervision
  • Able to support and guide new team members, apprentices, or trainees
  • 5 years of relevant completed vocational/professional training, and additional subject-specific experience (5 years), or additional subject-specific qualification
  • We welcome candidates whose skills and knowledge have been acquired through various pathways, including non-traditional backgrounds
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Prolonged standing and walking throughout the workday

Responsibilities

  • Manage manufacturing and/or production operations including assembly, machinery, processing, and/or packaging
  • Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources, and volume required to meet demand, ensuring maximum production quantity and quality
  • Manufacture electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical systems, parts, or components corresponding to the specifications - for both series production and prototypes or single production
  • Debug and troubleshoot failed electronic components, assemblies, and systems using test equipment and schematics, with relevant experience or alternative pathways welcomed
  • Compile and maintain test-related documentation including test plans, procedures, results, and reports
  • Work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
  • Work with a moderate degree of supervision
  • Employment in this position is subject to successfully obtaining NCIC (National Crime Information Center) background clearance and Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) authorization
