This is an exciting opportunity to join the Emerging Systems finance team as a Principal Specialist finance analyst supporting the growing business of the Advanced Capabilities and Experiments (ACE) sub prog 2 area under the Airborne Spectrum Dominance SSBU under the Advanced Technology SBU out of our El Segundo, California location. You will be a key member of the finance and program team in charge of all financial aspects of this classified program area.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math or Business or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior related experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint.
  • Experience with key financial tools including SAP, BW/AO, EDIT+ and/or PMX, R plan.
  • Experience comparing actuals vs budget and/or explaining variances.
  • A Top Secret Clearance and experience working in an SAP environment.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Experience with Estimates at Completion (EACs), Program costs & schedule tracking, proposals, and Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS).

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible to partner with the development program team specifically supporting a new program award in the ACE product area which is 100% classified
  • Serve as the financial point of contact for Program Management, providing financial guidance to IPT key team members and non-finance organizations, including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations
  • Provide financial oversight and guidance that includes Estimates at Completion (EACs) support, Monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs), contract financial forecast, and manpower forecasts.
  • Facilitate financial planning activities including RPLAN updates, and analyze and communicate how program performance impacts Bookings, Sales, Profit, and Cash (BSPC)
  • Responsibilities will include monthly external EV reporting, cost type cash forecasting, and CDRLs
  • Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAMs), project schedulers, and other functional leads to ensure data integrity and accurate cost/schedule integration.
  • You will employ their technical knowledge of finance and program controls, problem solving, communication and leadership skills.
  • You will work independently as well as partner cross-functionally with the program team in a fast-paced environment.
