As a Principal Product Manager at IFS, you will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps for manufacturing-related products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive market and competitive analyses specific to the manufacturing industry, identifying trends, customer needs, and building business cases for potential opportunities. You will engage with manufacturing customers, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure products meet or exceed their expectations. Leveraging your knowledge of existing defense standards, specifications, and prior solicitations will be crucial in informing and driving product requirements. You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to prioritize features and guide product development, define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, and work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive transparency and enablement of product updates and roadmap plans. Additionally, you will help develop and implement go-to-market strategies for manufacturing products, including pricing and positioning.

  • Developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps for manufacturing-related products.
  • Conducting comprehensive market and competitive analyses specific to the manufacturing industry.
  • Identifying trends, customer needs, and building business cases for potential opportunities.
  • Engaging with manufacturing customers, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and solicit feedback.
  • Collaborating with engineering and design teams to prioritize features and guide product development.
  • Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive transparency and enablement of product updates and roadmap plans.
  • Helping develop and implement go-to-market strategies for manufacturing products.
  • Degree in Software Engineering, or a related STEM field; MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years relevant experience with increasing responsibilities in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in bringing products from concept to deployment.
  • Experience in industry marketing and customer dialogues in a collaborative spirit.
  • Deep experience in managing through influence and driving results through cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing with customers and senior leadership.
  • Salary Range: $120,000-$170,000 plus 15% bonus potential
