About The Position

William V. Fisher Catholic High School, located at 1803 Granville Pike in Lancaster, Ohio, seeks a dynamic, faith-driven leader to serve as Principal beginning July 1, 2026. The Principal serves as the school’s chief executive officer and is responsible for the leadership of all aspects of the school’s operation and the educational program with a focus on the core values of Catholic identity, faith formation, academic excellence, and stewardship. The Principal is responsible for establishing, demonstrating, and promoting the highest standards and expectations for academic performance, community building, and spiritual growth of all students and directing and nurturing all members of the school staff. Offering a “Catholic Tradition of Excellence,” William V. Fisher Catholic High School encourages students to develop and increase the capacities for informed judgments, the appreciation of cultural heritage, and the personal commitment to the Gospel call for faith and service, especially to those who are in the greatest need. William V. Fisher Catholic is one of 12 Catholic High Schools within the Diocese of Columbus. The school currently serves 140 students enrolled in grades nine through twelve. Candidates must be active, practicing Catholics and should possess a Master’s degree and administrator’s license or be eligible to obtain one. A current FBI/BCI background check, attendance at the VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children seminar and a completed online principal application for the Diocese of Columbus must be submitted as part of the application process. Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience.
