The Global AI Practice is the company's center of excellence for artificial intelligence, setting the standard for how AI is built, governed, and trusted across the enterprise and with clients worldwide. This role is for a leader in AI transformation, focusing on the GitHub Copilot platform.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and/or relevant experience.
- 5+ years software development experience in an enterprise environment.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, SDLC standardization and enablement.
- Applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government (due to export-controlled commodities and technology).
Nice To Haves
- GitHub-certified (GitHub Foundations, GitHub Copilot) strongly preferred.
- Experience in DevSecOps, platform engineering, or developer experience roles a plus.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of GitHub Copilot (Individual, Business, Enterprise) including inline completions, Copilot Chat, Copilot Workspace, code review, and PR summaries across all major IDEs.
- Exhibit proficiency in 2–3 enterprise languages (Python, Java, C#, TypeScript) with the ability to demonstrate Copilot effectiveness across code generation, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
- Possess experience with prompt crafting in IDE chat for complex tasks, Copilot context window behavior, and integration with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply GH/CP within Unisys CI/CD & SDLC environments.
- Maintain knowledge of Copilot policy controls (org/repo-level, IP indemnification, duplication detection) and advise on acceptable use policies for AI-generated code.
- Be familiar with agentic coding frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI), Semantic Kernel, and Azure OpenAI Service for custom coding assistant scenarios.
- Work across business units to enable relevant solution development, delivery enablement and high quality executive consumable documentation.
- Lead developer bootcamps, hackathons, and code review workshops.
- Produce metrics showing developer productivity lift.
- Work with engineering leadership to define AI coding standards and guardrails.
- Design, blueprint, and work with Central IT to support lab environments for team members.
- Engage in strategic go to market activities, including public speaking, blog posts, podcasts and social media posts highlighting the company's capabilities.
