About The Position

As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Connected Commerce Technology, you will lead complex, multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, and stakeholders. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
  • Deep knowledge of digital identity ecosystems, including IAM (Identity and Access Management) systems (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity), biometric technologies, decentralized identity frameworks (e.g., DID, Verifiable Credentials), and privacy-enhancing tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integration with APIs/microservices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead matrixed teams, influence C-suite executives, and drive change in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong project management experience with tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or Asana.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action, problem-solving prowess, and adaptability to evolving technologies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for meetings, conferences, and site visits.
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI-driven identity solutions, such as behavioral biometrics or fraud detection.
  • Background in regulatory compliance for identity data in multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • Publications, patents, or speaking engagements on digital identity topics.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred, with certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital identity strategy, including roadmaps for identity platforms, integration with AI/ML-driven security, and adoption of standards like OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, and blockchain-based identities.
  • Act as the chief advisor on identity trends, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.
  • Oversee large-scale programs from inception to delivery, managing cross-functional teams (engineering, product, legal, compliance) to implement identity solutions. Utilize agile methodologies to ensure timely milestones, budget adherence, and high-impact outcomes.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies in digital identity (e.g., biometric authentication, zero-knowledge proofs, decentralized identifiers). Lead proof-of-concept projects and partnerships with vendors, standards bodies (e.g., W3C, NIST), and industry consortia.
  • Ensure all identity programs comply with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, NIST frameworks) and mitigate risks related to data privacy, fraud, and cybersecurity. Conduct regular audits and develop policies for ethical identity management.
  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., product development, marketing, customer experience) and external stakeholders (e.g., regulators, partners) to align identity strategies with business goals. Represent the company at industry conferences and forums on digital identity topics.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of program managers, architects, and analysts focused on identity initiatives. Foster a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Define KPIs for identity programs (e.g., adoption rates, security incident reduction, user satisfaction) and provide executive-level reporting on progress, challenges, and ROI.
