As a Principal Tech Product Manager, the individual will define and drive the technical product vision, roadmap, and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with market demands, and delivering customer-centric software solutions that meet business objectives.

Requirements

7+ years of related experience.
Certification is required in some areas.
An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.
Ability to lead critical, high-impact projects and design/implement innovative business strategies.
Ability to work with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions.
Ability to serve as a mentor and assist others with challenging issues.
Considered a subject matter expert.
Experience leading initiatives that span multiple technical product lines or platforms.
Experience mentoring less experienced product managers.
Experience working closely with leadership to shape their org’s overall technical product strategy.
Ability to write features and set the direction for a group of teams OR write epics and set the direction for multiple groups of teams.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree (MS/MA) desired in Computer Science.

Responsibilities

Develop product vision and strategy by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Define and prioritize the product roadmap through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business, architecture, UX, and other product managers.
Guide product development by detailing software product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and support trade-off discussions and negotiations.
Ensure product viability and alignment with business goals by monitoring performance, serving as the voice of the customer, and ensuring a high-quality user experience.
Participate in sprint planning, support feature refinement, and act as a subject matter expert within the organization for assigned products or product lines.
Lead critical, high-impact projects and design/implement innovative business strategies.
Work with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions.
Serve as a mentor and assist others with challenging issues.
Be assigned the most complex products or product lines.
