About The Position

Amazon Advertising supports exceptional customer experiences while meeting advertiser demands in a fast-growing business. We believe well-executed advertising enhances customer experience while delivering positive ROI for our advertising partners. As a member of Advertising Trust's Policy & Integrity team, you'll work across Amazon business lines to shape customer experience through policy work. Our team combines extensive online advertising experience and policy acumen with expertise in customer experience solutions, risk mitigation, and brand integrity. We seek innovative, customer-obsessed deep thinkers. Policy Managers monitor policy effectiveness using various signals and handle escalated policy compliance questions. They develop expertise in locale-specific requirements and consider cultural norms in decision-making. The role involves building policy recommendations based on multi-vector risk assessment, collaborating with product teams on risk solutions, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders. They coordinate between Amazon teams to ensure consistency for advertisers and shoppers. The Ads Trust Policy team manages global advertising policies across all ad products, Amazon publishers and the Open Internet. We influence Amazon Advertising through multiple business touchpoints, focusing on customer-centric ad delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage policies, including risk rationale, policy text, and data monitoring,
  • Present policy risks to internal stakeholders through high-quality written communications to build understanding and consensus
  • Create business requirement documents to product teams to solve for policy risks
  • Foster collaborative relationships across Ad Trust Policy teams, Sales, Legal, PR, Public Policy, and other business units
  • Support high-risk and high-impact escalations with moderation and tiered support teams
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of ad tech systems, particularly Amazon's infrastructure, to inform policy work
