Requirements

Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field
10+ years of systems engineering experience in avionics or safety-critical embedded systems
Experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles
Experience developing system architecture models using SysML (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody, or similar tools)
Demonstrated experience developing and managing requirements including traceability and verification
Experience authoring system/subsystem design documentation that drives software implementation
Experience developing and executing system-level and HIL test procedures
Strong understanding of requirements verification and validation processes
Experience troubleshooting integrated HW/SW systems in a lab environment
Solid understanding of configuration management principles
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Ability to work onsite 100%
Ability to travel 25%

Nice To Haves

Experience using Agile methodologies
Experience designing and architecting avionics systems
Experience as a lead engineer
Proficient with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)
Experience in DO-178C / DO-254 or other safety-critical development environments
Experience supporting certification efforts
Experience with MIL-ACAS, CAPS/SKE systems
