About The Position

Patricio Enterprises, Inc is looking to fill a Principal Systems Engineer contingent position to provide the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) support for Combat System Systems Engineering trades and analyses for future Naval Surface Combat and Warfare System Operations to NSWCDD. Primary duties will include (but not limited to) : Coordinating development activities associated with engineering systems, capabilities, and activities as well as conducting detailed and complex system engineering independently to include demonstrated experience in functional and system level requirements analysis, requirements generation and technical community review.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in the DoD 5000 Framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in systems engineering, requirements engineering, architecture engineering and initial design for advanced integration concepts and prototyping.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
  • Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or four (4) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the statement of work.
  • Fifteen (15) years of experience with emphasis in one or more of the following: Combat Systems Cyber Security, Ships Self Defense System, Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) class, AEGIS Integrated Combat Systems, DDG-1000 Zumwalt class destroyer, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense and Weapon/Sensor Combat Systems to conduct and coordinate individual projects.
  • Extensive experience in developing Functional Area Assessments (FAA) and working with Mission Area Assessments (MAA) in relation to engineering tasks.
