Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands‑on software development experience, primarily in C.
  • Strong background in networking protocols, including control‑plane and/or data‑plane implementations for switches or routers.
  • Experience with Linux kernel development, with emphasis on networking subsystems preferred.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, L2/L3 networking concepts, and related technologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with Broadcom SDKs and networking ASICs.
  • Proficiency with Git/GitHub for source control and collaboration.
  • Experience using AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing or integrating physical layer (PHY) drivers is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Python for scripting, and automation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high‑performance routing and switching software for Linux-based networking systems managed from the cloud.
  • Develop and enable software on next‑generation embedded networking hardware platforms.
  • Analyze requirements and translate them into detailed designs, and high‑quality implementations.
  • Develop functional and design specifications.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Hardware, QA, and Product management teams
