We have an excellent opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls professional to join our AIM-9X program Finance team. The AIM-9X programs falls within the Naval Power Mission Area and has annual revenue of over $500M of domestic and international business with exciting opportunities for future growth. What You Will Do You will be responsible to partner with the production program team specifically supporting the 2nd Source Rate Capacity effort to contribute to the successful execution of contracts by providing critical financial oversight and guidance that includes quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) support, contract financial forecasts and manpower forecasts. This is a unique experience to support contractual earned value as well as be part of a production team. This effort is currently undefinitized so there is opportunity to be part of contract negotiations and definitization. Responsibilities will also include EV reporting, cost type cash forecasting, CDRLs, and IPMRs. You will employ their technical knowledge of finance and program controls, problem solving, communication and leadership skills. You will work independently as well as partner cross-functionally with their program team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS).
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math or Business or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior related experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with key financial tools including SAP, BW/AO, EDIT+, & PMX.
  • Experience comparing actuals vs budget and explaining variances

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Estimates at Completion (EACs), Program costs & schedule tracking, proposals, and sales & rate forecasting.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
