About The Position

Develop, design, and lead the Enterprise Solution Architecture (ESA) to support the vision for digital experiences for financial services applications. Lead ESA modeling and designs, leveraging cross-domain architects to deliver domain-driven, high-performance, scalable APIs-based solutions that eliminate fate sharing across teams while maintaining sub-millisecond trading execution times. Develop blueprint architecture, including multi-year transitions and recommendations to drive transformation and modernization for the enterprise. Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams early in the product lifecycle to incorporate end-to-end architecture thinking, including functional and non-functional aspects. Craft high-level design early in the lifecycle and elaborate it to lower levels of detail as planning progress. Collaborate with Lean Portfolio Management to provide a high-level vision of enterprise solutions and development initiatives. Assist the Agile Program Management Office to identify and design development value streams. Participate in the strategy for building and maintaining the modern enabling architectural runway initiatives via Enabler Epics. Promote Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevSecOps capabilities. Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns supporting modern architecture. Deliver architecture in alignment with our Enterprise Architecture standards and advocate for Enterprise Architecture models and patterns to guide solution decisions. 100% Telecommuting from anywhere in U.S.

Requirements

  • MINIMUM Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
  • MINIMUM Experience Requirement: Six (6) years of experience in the job offered, Software Developer, Solutions Architect, Cybersecurity Analyst or related occupations within financial services.
  • Alternate Education and Experience Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered, Software Developer, Solutions Architect, Cybersecurity Analyst or related occupations within financial services.
  • Applicants must possess demonstrated expertise with the following: Designing, architecting, developing, and implementing IT solutions, with a focus on technical integration between global financial firms and financial ecosystem partners.
  • Creating and managing front-end user interfaces and building APIs, using automation, code generation techniques, and industry specific integration templates.
  • Developing and maintaining applications, middleware, databases, security, and integration components.
  • Utilizing and managing AWS and Azure cloud platforms, applying AWS Security best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Defining and modeling current and future state architecture models, with a focus on AI integration and deployment.
  • Migrating and refactoring monolithic on-prem applications to cloud environments using refactoring, re-architecting, and re-platforming approaches, including 12-factor app methodology.
  • Implementing and managing DevOps tools, automated deployments, containerization technologies, and API Management platforms, including AWS API Management, Apigee, Kong, and Data Power.
