About The Position

The Principal Software Solutions Architect (PSA) leads technology solution design efforts within one of Christian Care Ministry’s domain pillars, following the CCM SDLC process. The PSA acts as the bridge between non-IT stakeholders and the software development staff, crafting technology and feature roadmaps, delivering requirement specifications, establishing architectural standards and working directly with the software delivery team to ensure quality development and release of features. The PSA coordinates with our project managers to ensuring organizational alignment in terms of timelines, commitments, and status. The development projects are critical, high value initiatives that are part of a larger enterprise IT strategy. During the project design efforts, the Principal Solutions Architect leads the team of Architects and UX Research/Designers, and partners with PMO, IT Infrastructure, Production Operations, and Security/Compliance teams, to design solutions that will be implemented by CCM IT Delivery teams, in order to provide efficient, value-based services to CCM Internal Users and to CCM Members. Additionally, PSA works closely with the manager of Design and Architecture to ensure the successful realization of the enterprise architecture roadmap and strategy. This includes providing input into the enterprise architecture, representing the PSA’s domain pillar. The Principal Solutions Architect – with a background in the various technologies and stacks (JavaScript/NodeJS/ExpressJs/React/Postgres, Salesforce/Lightning Web Components OSS, .NET/SQL Server, Web Services) – works on the solution design related to various elements of CCM’s platforms, and will address business/user impact, application integration, data integration and migration, security, networking, deployment, and user access. They will also conduct requirements-gathering from end users, stakeholders, and other SMEs. The Principal Solutions Architect is a key technical leader within our organization, mentoring Senior Solutions Architects and software developers in architecture, technology, and leadership.
