Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking Principal Requirements Systems Engineer or Senior Principal Requirements Systems Engineer. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Requirements Systems Engineer to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. Scope will include requirement and verification ownership, including analysis, definition, and flow down of requirements, and verification planning. This role will also support cost and schedule activities for ROMs and proposal for Requirements & Verification, and the selected candidate will be the focal point for requirements and verification. This position will serve on-site in Redondo Beach, CA. This requisition may be filled as a Principal Requirements Systems Engineer or Sr Principal Requirements Systems Engineer. This position is contingent upon acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customers' requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with 5 or more years of experience; 3 or more years with Master's Degree; 1 or more years with PhD
  • 2 or more years of Requirements experience
  • Demonstrated experience in applying systems engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for technical documentation, presentations, and stakeholder interactions
  • This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
  • Current Active DoW Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI and FS Polygraph (Cannot start until all clearances have been obtained)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with 8 or more years of experience; 6 or more years with Master's Degree; 4 or more years with PhD
