We are involved in all phases of development, production, and maintenance of Low Observable (LO) weapon systems. We are currently looking for Stealth / Low Observable / Radar Cross Section (RCS) / Signature Management / Survivability Engineers to work on challenging, state of the art technical projects Do you have a passion for LO technology? Would you enjoy working at both an outdoor RCS range and a large indoor RCS chamber to support our nation’s security? If you answered "yes" to these questions, our Signature Management & Technology team at our Tucson, AZ, facility wants to hear from you! What You Will Do We are seeking mid to senior career Engineers to join the Signature Management & Technology Team. At Raytheon, you will be part of a team whose responsibilities span the full lifecycle of the product- from initial conceptual design to modeling and analysis, from component to missile level RCS testing, and production support to maintainability.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Eight (08) years experience in calibrating, operating, and trouble shooting instrumentation radars for far field RCS measurements
  • Experience using RCS processing software for data analysis
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating and maintaining Resonant Sciences Radarman II instrumentation radar
  • Experience operating near field radar systems
  • Experience with range certification/registration process and management of the range handboo
